Roughly 20 years ago, a group of hunters traveled to Rangeley, Maine to hunt, fish, ATV and snowmobile.  We stayed at a different camp each year, hence our name, NOMADS meaning wanderers.  Nomads also incorporates the letters of our organization: National Organization of Men After Deer Sometimes.  In our little corner or the hunting and fishing world we also developed a hand sign for use with each other in the fields and in public called Hi-Hoof. Since we have received a great deal of attention and curiosity we decided to construct a web site and offer the camaraderie and fun associated with being a Nomad sportsman or sportswoman.  Nomads are involved in all outdoor sports, be it hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, golf, ATV's, water sports.... the list is endless.  As members, we can swap stories of hunting and fishing trips, vacations, sports equipment, jokes and anything else you can imagine.  So come on in and join us....
